In the vicinities of the Sanctuary you can walk up to Monte Penna using the Nature Trail, which has as its theme "Nature, history, spirituality". The Sanctuary of La Verna is worth visiting, being built on a rock on three of its sides, immersed in the centuries-old forests of the Park. From Chiusi della Verna, along the SP 208, you can reach Bibbiena, where you can visit the Dovizi Theatre, a typical little theatre of the Casentino, a small jewel of the nineteenth century, and the Pieve of the Saints Hippolytus and Donatus, near the remains of the ancient fortifications. In the historic centre of Bibbiena it is worth seeing the Church and Convent of S. Lorenzo, where two beautiful ceramic terracottas attributed to Andrea Della Robbia are preserved, depicting the Adoration of the Shepherds and the Deposition of the Cross.
