The Mengozzi Mill at Fiumicello and the Biondi Mill at Castel dell'Alpe are important testimonies of mountain culture. Externally similar to stone rural buildings, they are internally equipped for milling activities. The mills are a perfect example of the close bond that united man and nature: the exploitation of the energy of the stream to produce cereal and chestnut flour necessary to cook poor dishes, typical of these mountain areas. Inside the mills you can admire the ancient and still perfectly functioning millstones.
